The Final Countdown!

This song has been on my playlist forever. I admit it. I have fantastically bad taste in music and I don't make apologies for it.

30 days from today!!!! Thirty days from right now I will hopefully be in my hotel room wearing my medal with my pjs and celebrating my finish.

I'm also in the final countdown for my fundraising! I am only $59 away from my goal! Another wonderful friend made a very generous donation today. I am thrilled to think about the animals our team's efforts will help.

Tomorrow is the Hartford 1/2 marathon. I remember being so nervous about it back in 2003 -- it was my first 1/2 mary and I had trained all summer for it. I never would have thought that doing the half would be my easy week. It will still be fun though, Hartford is a nice race. The weather is supposed to be perfect. It should be a good time, a little taste of what marathon day will be like.
